And I dislike any company who threatens the little guy as blatantly as they did at first. WowUp is pretty great. Though, I actually just switched from the v1. It does everything I need in an Addon Manager.

Using the Windows Apps and Features section to uninstall, it took a few seconds after selecting OverWolf to uninstall for its own uninstall pop up to come up.

Then I selected uninstall and it all went away. I set mine to only open Overwolf when running Curseforge, than have both close when I close Curseforge. Right now Curseforge is closed and I can find zero trace of Overwolf still running. Good call on your part! You can change that in the settings options.

Like any other internet entrepreneurs out there, they release a "free" version and a "premium" version with fifty gazillion percent more bells and whistles and improvements, and of course, the "premium" version requires monetary payment. So I don't trust them to tell me what I want without literally shrieking at the absolute top of their lungs to high heaven and the pits of hell, at a decibel level capable of rupturing the human eardrums a zillion times over, about how catastrophically earth-shaking a travesty it would be if I did what I told them I want to do, and all the reasons the fate of the entire planet absolutely hingest on my giving up my intention to permanently remove thier software and stop it from re-installing itself.

Therefore I'm also posting here, in case they respond the way I worry they will. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can make Windows permanently STOP trying to ram this no-longer-needed program down my throat every time I restart? I want it gone, once and for all, without any reminders about how the entire planet couldn't possibly avoid being plunged into the center of the sun, frying all life to a crisp, unless I take it back onto my hard drive, immediately.

I don't see where you tried to remove it from your start-up files. In the start-up tab un-check anything you find referring to the wretched CC program.

Now I can quietly delete my post over on curse dot come before the absolute spam deluge of "oh boo-hoo-hoo please don't uninstall our beautiful program a-boo-hoo-hoo you're condemning us all to unspeakable horrors of untold proportions a-boo-hoo-hoo you'll be putting your computer at such unspeakable risk of everything from the Hercules megasupervirus to every living creature on the planet Zookius in the Orion system laughing at us, a--boo-hoo-hoo ad nauseum.
