If you are not selected to come live to air, you may enter again for the same Quiz, subject to the entries and registrations per month limitation set forth in Rule 5. The instructions on how to play each Quiz during the Program will be provided by the Host during the live broadcast of the Program.
These Quiz instructions shall be deemed to be incorporated by reference into and form a part of these Official Rules. In the event of any dispute or disagreement regarding any aspect of a Quiz, including the operation of the Quiz, or the correct solution to any Quiz, the decision of the Producer shall be final and binding. Viewers randomly selected to come to air will speak to the host to give their answer. The host can only accept the first answer given, contestants will not be permitted to alter their answer or give a second or alternate answer.
The prizes for each Quiz, the exact amount of cash prizes and the prize descriptions and retail values of non-cash prizes, will be announced by the Host at the commencement of the Quiz. No cash or other substitution, assignment or transfer of prize permitted for non-cash prizes except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event that an offered prize becomes unavailable.
Certain Quizzes will also include a bonus prize that will be announced at the outset of any Quiz. Any Contestant who has correctly solved the Quiz, in which a bonus prize is offered, will be eligible to compete for the bonus prize in an additional Quiz the "Bonus Quiz" without any risk to the prize already won. The Host will administer the Bonus Quiz on air. If the Contestant provides the correct answer to the Bonus Quiz, the bonus prize for that Quiz will be awarded.
If the answer is incorrect, no bonus prize will be awarded for that Quiz. Prizes will only be delivered in Canada. Any prize that is undeliverable will be deemed forfeited and the prize will not be awarded. Winner payments are processed within 4 to 8 weeks.
All federal, provincial and local taxes are the responsibility of the winners. Our customer care team will attempt to contact winners on the telephone number they called the studio for 30 days, to validate winner names and addresses. If you are a show winner and we have not been able to contact you to confirm your name and address to send your winner check, please email your name, address, the telephone number you called the show from and the date you won to gametimecanada calltv.
Any Prizes or Bonus Prizes not validated within 90 ninety days shall be forfeit. Prize winners will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Liability and Publicity Release unless otherwise prohibited by law within ten 10 days of attempted notification. Winners will be required to provide proof of identity, age and ownership of the phone number that was used to register.
Mobile phones and landline phones may not be shared for purposes of entry into a Quiz. Once an online or text message entry has been received for any Quiz, all subsequent registrations will be counted against the monthly limit for that phone number. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an Entrant, the authorized account holder of the phone number used to register will be deemed the Entrant. For purposes of the Promotion, the "authorized account holder" of a phone is the natural person in whose name the phone number has been issued and to whom the services are billed.
A The registration is only possible during the registration periods specified during the live broadcast of each quiz in the program. Check your local TV listings for the current time and day of the promotion and the program will air in your viewing area. B The Participants agree to unconditionally accept and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and the producer, which shall be final and binding on all matters relating to the Quiz. The Sponsor has the right to change these rules in its sole discretion for any purposes without materially affecting the terms of the promotion.
C The sponsor or producer may prohibit any person from participating in the Promotion if, in their sole discretion, that entrant shows a disregard for the official rules, or i annoys, abuses, threatens or harasses any participant, competitor, sponsor producer or presenter, ii participates in a manner inconsistent with the official rules, or iii participates in any other matter considered disruptive, at the sole discretion of the Sponsor or producer. E At the discretion of producers, payments of winners can be delayed or denied, in the case where 1 the producer sees an unusual pattern of the winners calls or 2 if the producer considers that the caller intended to challenge or be charge back their telephony fees or 3 challenged the cost of telephone calls.
G If phone charges are in dispute by the caller, all payments of the winners will become null and void. H The producer in its sole discretion, may require the appellant to provide a written and signed statement confirming that the winner pay all telephone charges. All prizes with several mobile phones may be rejected at the sole discretion of the Producer.
